Modern education system: A boon or bane....!!!!!!

We all are aware about how certain changes have occurred in last one decade. Classes well equipped with modern teaching techniques, trained and experienced teachers provided with extracurricular activities. At an extent it seems to be the best any student can get but taking you to the other side of it, is it distracting students from studies.

Today it's very common that you see students not at all bothered about their studies, just busy in having fun. In olden days students were having too much of burden for studies which was not good but was enough to keep students busy in studies. As exams related stress is being reduced, home works have been reduced and at the place of half yearly exams, we have Cycle tests. It made our studies easy but some are taking it in wrong sense....becoming ignorant towards it. System was made easy for our betterment so that we can take interest in it but what's happening is just opposite.

Nowadays we also get projects like preparing files, presentations, charts which not only makes us proficient in it but also gives us chance to get some bonus marks in it but there are some those who don't want such golden chance and in turn show carelessness that somewhere they will get marks through evaluations. So isn't it creating carelessness in students.....some will agree but most will not. It's our pleasure that we're getting such an environment to study but are we taking advantage of it?? Ultimately it will lead to misuse. Sports and all is not everything, it just helps us in keeping ourselves fit, mentally as well as physically but students are just rushing towards it. It's good for them those who want to make future in it but what about those who are not giving attention neither towards studies nor on sports...god knows. So which system you support????

Ufff...Even god is not safe of terrorism; isn't it terrible!!!

Topics have no limit around us....it can be anything- from a small room to whole world but it depends on you whether what's your point of view. Most of my friends questioned me that can't you think beyond serious issues?? It made me spell bound totally. That I want you all to examine my thinking skills (if you want you can comment). Recently there took place serial blasts at Bodhgaya in Bihar. Fortunately no casualty took place. But the thing doesn't stops here because that's not for the first time it happened.

Most of us are aware about how sacred places are targeted all the time, not only in India but in all religious-centered countries where just religion is everything. Terrorists just need a chance to show their anger and to spread their terror all around. There are several incidents such as Ajmer Dargah blasts, Akshardham Temple blasts and many others which shook the hearts of pilgrims. But the similarity in both the cases was that both took place at the time when lots and lots of people were together gathered to take the blessings but blessings are of use till the life exists.

I don't even disagree with the sentiment that the recent attack can even be a political conspiracy as it was seen in the Chhattisgarh naxalists attack took place in the month of May. But I'm talking about attacks that totally made security agencies a deaf and dumb personality. It's great that 2 more bombs were diffused within the remaining time, but the question which arises is that is the security control that weak that anyone can enter the premises without checking. See, through mistakes people get to know their negative aspects and try to learn as we can see the security condition of Ajmer Dargah and Akshardham today, total coverage of security along with regular checking. So we can expect some changes in Bodhgaya from now but does it need another chance for it...depends on them. It even reflects the cruel mentality terrorists have, they believe in Jihad and want others to follow it but that's also India.....whether terrorist’s attacks or natural calamities take place. But people have too much faith in god that they won't leave him till they die. But whatever it is....try to be as safer as you can because the fact is that life is much more precious than all other elements.

Is it easy to maintain a balance between your personal problems and studies.....?

While writing this blog I was in Dehradun. After a long time I met my family ones, relatives and neighbors as well. As usual I felt bad when I was going back going back to Gandhidham and that's human nature that whenever you're fond of something you can't get away from it. Then just think what will be your condition when one of your loved ones gets in a severe problem and needs your helps???.....surely you'll give your best but when we talk about making balance between your work or studies and condition like I mentioned??

I as a student will talk about condition of studies. At Dehradun I met one of my aunts nearby but on the other side very much frank with them. So we were talking about the same topic then only she told me about the problem her children faced. In year 2003, her husband faced a tragic accident so it became her daughter's responsibility to take care of him but also her 12th standard exams, so what she did was that after her father felt sleepy or busy watching TV, she went in other room at hospital and studied for it but scored well. Now let me tell you about the situation what my aunt's son.

He was in 8th standard that time and also took care of his father. But during 9th standard, he passed through a deep depression as he got to know that his father's leg will be amputated which even affected his 10th's board exams result, failed in that and after 11th standard he decided not to carry on with his studies as what he thought was that now his only work is to help his father at shop, loading unloading the medicines and only thought of making money.....and left studies behind.

This story you'll find little bit boring but what I intended to say is that how some can even manage to complete their goals in tough conditions whereas some just try to get away from it.....giving excuses out of their problems but that's not the solution. Such type of condition is sometimes common. Thing which can help them to get rid of it is moral support; you may find it weird but it's true. In conditions like this it is important to have support from family members but also there should be a communication between them. These are some small aspects which can help us even in major or minor problems. So here I'll also try to sort out some problems which we all face in our life but till then make sure don't get diverted from your goals..... :-)

This year's journey of Kedarnath-Badrinath.....a journey of salvation or hell (Part 2)

Even the natives are in such a condition that they are struggling a lot for their own survival, with no house to live; no tourism will lead to no earnings for them which will directly affect them. So will the government take any decision regarding the re-establishment of their homes?? Let’s see.

What I think is that now the areas which are highly affected through floods should not be taken into consideration as a perfect place for residential purpose so it’s a chance for them that they can even shift these people to other place in lower regions of Uttarakhand. I also think that nature has given us a lesson that if we don't respect nature....nature will never ever respect us.

The continuous landslides at Devprayag, Pauri, Srinagar and Rudraprayag just reflect that what wrong exercises have been performed, continuous cutting of mountains for dams, highways. Even other reason for it is that Himalayan Mountains are actually made of sediments which restrict us from having large projects over it.

Here I would like to specially mention the efforts made by our Indian army, the personnel’s of ITBP, CRPF and Indian Air Force who are working continuously, day and night to save the victims, better than our ministers who just come to show their faces. Now taking you towards the political point of view. Right now you might be aware that how Uttarakhand Government has refused to take any help from state government just because of Mr. Narendra Modi as they don't want him to be famous among people showing their jealousy towards him.....as he's considered to be a powerful candidate for next year's election. But what I think is that it's the time when every state government should come forward with a helping hand and they should happily accept it as it will show the unity. (My own view)

In each and every incident taking place, politics is directly or indirectly related to it. That's natural that two opposite parties will always try to find out each other's negativity just to publicize but when comes on severe issues, so politics should be kept aside which creates obstacles for others. I don't know whether how much time it will take to make the conditions normal, but that's sure that it will be a challenge for government that how it tackles up the heavy destruction taking place.
